Great place to visit with the family. Hula shows, waterslides, onsens and great food. A little bit of something for everyone and very kid friendly.

The place was great, it has spacious rooms for a fair price. There were so many activities with a pool park to natural hot springs. They even have a large souvenir shop and the place doesn't feel cramped. Overall impression is very good

Got to love this oversized kitschy venue, which provides all sorts of water based activities including a lovely onsen facility. I was encouraged to sit and watch the regular Hawaiian dance show with Japanese friends. We sat there in our swimming great while a professional dancer group went through the motions of Polynesian dance before a semi engaged audience. Full marks for professionalism.

Very nice place for family time.
Hotel is bit old but restaurant and pool facilities were excellent. Shuttle bus from tokyo area is very convinient. Not only save transport fee but also avoid long distance drive.
Better to bring big bag to put the towel and belongings to carry between room and facilities as hotel is not providing it.response / report this review -

This was my fourth visit. I would've gone annually, but the earthquake closed the facility.
The main attractions for me were the Polynesian shows, afternoon and evening: hula, fire sword dance, Tahitian dances, etc., but I also liked the large indoor pool, the water slides next to it, and the wealth of hot spring baths next door (segregated and ones requiring a bathing suit). Great for kids!
Less impressive was the latest attraction, the Big Aloha water slides, almost ten storeys high. (No elevators, note.) I may feel the need for speed on the ski slopes, but shooting down a fully enclosed pipe brings out claustrophobia. Finishing in a pool of water totally disoriented was not my idea of fun. I'll skip it next year.response / report this review -

The facilities are great but guidance to those facilities is really poor. You might as well take a map or ask staff before you get lost.

It's OK. I went to the resort after 3pm in August, the ticket was ¥3000 (only for some indoor and outdoor pools) . Water slides and Onsen cost extra, basically you need to pay more than double the price.

I only went to the resort and it was very nice. You have to pay to go on the slides, which is very sad. There was also a lot of people. The food was okay, but the pizza was slightly undercooked. A lot of lines in general.

I stayed at room 1755 for one night. The attendants were friendly and dutiful. I got help whenever I needed it. Dinner and breakfast was great. I would like to come again.

Year round water park. Has a variety of water slides, a large pool, endless river, children's pool, Roman themed pools (thermae), heated outdoor pools, saunas, and Japan's best hula dance shows. Also features two Japanese style onsen (hot spring baths), including Yoichi, the largest outdoor hot spring bath in Japan.

The hotel seems very expensive. The pool resort is good fun with kids. The food options inside range from awful (the burger place by the pool) to ok. Maybe some of the fancier restaurants are good.
