Best place for food lover . The Salt team are fun to work with . Always have smile face n great service . The food n drinks are absolutely yummy and heavenly delicious . I hope to visit there again .

Went for lunch. Cost two people about 10,000 JPY. Cost / performance was fantastic. Lots of strong flavours, great presentation and a rarity in Tokyo - decent table sizes and seating. If you are Jaded by bland Japanese food Salt is highly recommended.

Food was fine, however the matched wines with the tasting menu were the most terrible assortment of the bottom shelf of BWS I have ever been served at a restaurant.

Great place for taking clients for business lunch and dinner. Great place for going as a couple and a further 'great' for going with friends at lunch or dinner time if you are not put off by people in suits (they be discussing business) and you are casual.
We have been here since it opened and used for lunch and dinner - also for private client functions.
For lunch there is a simple choice of course menu's - starter, main, dessert and coffee - a choice for each. All of good size and served with good service.
Dinner you have a wider selection of course menu or ala carte. We tend to go for one of the course menu's and then mix / match our wines with the dishes or take a bottle. They have Stonier on the wine list here which in Japan isn't so often seen. They are also going to be stocking, whilst it last, the Uk sparkling white wine NYETimber. The wine list is good and obviously focuses on Australia and the new world asia pacific
Lunch time the crowd is a mix of business people from the area and then also groups of ladies. Ambience at lunchtime is just right for a client meeting or discussion and the level of service matches that which any others business person is use to (think business lunches in Singapore / Hong Kong) - no headaches there. Dinner can have a similar feeling.
The restaurant is in a square shape with a private room at the far end and having window views. The booth or wall side seats on the right side can be a good choice.
The food has always been very good and no complaints there. I find the lunch represents very good value for money.
Service has always been excellent and staff talkative (sommelier/head waiter has travelled for food to various countries etc)
Suggested to make advance reservation as does get busy. Bi-lingual ok.
If you are driving the parking is great as its the Shin Maru complex - wide / modern - and you'll get the parking cost inclusive when settling bill
Good for business, friends and couples.

Was there last night,great food and service.
Im so tired of these foreign complaining of food portions.
Please here is Japan not Us or Canada or Australia .if you fancy portions.
Please eat at your home.

Full course + drinks = 10.000yen/person
The food was great, very well presented. The amount of food provided was sufficient to fully enjoy the lunch without being overfull at the end. Cocktails were original and fresh. Some of the staff were very pleasant, especially a girl called Machiko. Other staff were unprepared.response / report this review
