別府、湯布院からは高速で40分くらい。
目の前にレンタカー屋が軒を連ねており、特段不便は感じませんが、仕事で来られる方には不便で不評のようです。
観光旅行で時間に追われずノンビリとした気持ちでいると、特段不便は感じません。
40分の移動時間も、旅行の思い出話しが出来ますし。
飛行機に預けた荷物はベルトコンベアで流れてきますが、最終回？荷物の終わりは、何故か寿司が流れてきます。(笑)
また別府、湯布院行く際は利用します。

出張で利用しました。その全てで羽田行きで遅延が発生しております。（JAL利用） 数回利用してます。市内から遠いし確かに大分と名乗るより「別府空港」の方が良いと思いますが・・・無論福岡に比べちゃいけませんが、それなりに良い空港ですし大分空港は地方空港の中では良い方ではないでしょうか。食事も出来るし、お土産を選ぶことも出来ます。待合室は狭めですが各航空会社が乗り入れているので横に広いですが。屋上のデッキも良い空間です。しかし交通の便は良くありません、道路案内もいい加減です。道路標識はちゃんと空港側から道路公団などに掛け合って案内を正確にして下さい。無駄に有料道路通る方や遠回りする人がどれだけいるのかちゃんと考えて下さい。とにかく地方空港は道案内に力を注ぐべきです。馬鹿じゃな無いのかなって関東人からは思います。地方の人はもっと考えるべきです。あなた方が利用するのモノじゃないのだから。そこが地方人の悪いところです、プライベートで利用する人が減るよ。

A very pleasant airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the layout of the airport prevented too much walking around.
