  1954 年に設けられた当駅は、線路で分断された市街地を結ぶ自由通路を組み込んだ日本初の橋上駅だとか (「線路上空に設けられた駅舎」であれば 1919 年の目白駅が最初)。

  東口のエスカレーターは構造上遠回りをしているので、急ぎの場合は階段を利用した方が早いです。歩いてエスカレーターを利用されてる方をよく見ますが階段の方が早いです。急ぎの時こそ階段を。

  階段は5号車1番ドアと6号車4番ドア、エスカレーターは8号車1番ドア、エレベータは7号車2番ドアがそれぞれ至近です
