Nagasaki Ocean Academy

It is an academy managed by the NPO Nagasaki Marine Industry Cluster Promotion Association for offshore industry professionals to learn about the marine industry. We will provide lectures and workshops, VR experiences with offshore wind turbines in the NOA room in the Nagasaki University, and training in the actual sea.Established in 2020 with the support from the Nippon Foundation, the academy educates professionals in the marine industry, including offshore wind, which is expected to grow quickly.Lecturers are provided by five marine experts from the NPO, and engineering/fishery professors of Nagasaki University and Nagasaki Institute of applied science. In the business course, we will also invite external lecturers who are active at the forefront of the business.　NPO法人長崎海洋産業クラスター形成推進協議会が運営する、社会人向けの海洋産業を学ぶための研修機関です。長崎大学文教キャンパス内のNOAルームでの研修・ワークショップ、洋上風車のVR体験、また実際の海での研修等を行います。　今後不足することが見込まれている洋上風力発電産業を含む海洋分野の国内のプロフェッショナルを育成するために、2020年に日本財団からの支援を受けて設立されました。　講師は、当NPO法人のコーディネーターであり海洋分野の専門家５名、また技術専門分野では長崎大学、長崎総合科学大学の教授陣が担当。ビジネス分野では第一線で活躍する外部の講師もお招きします。
