6月の火曜日の午後に運転免許証の更新で訪れました。
12:20ごろ到着すると、免許証の更新待ちと思われる方（15名程度）が着席していました。椅子は一つ置きに座るようになっており、ソーシャルディスタンスが守られていました。
12:45ごろから受付（3番）に並びました。受付はA～Gの7列あり、1列につき7～9名程並んでいましたので、受付開始時点では合計60名程並んでいたと思います。
受付は13:00から始まりました。暗証番号の入力・発行、視力検査、写真撮影、講習、新しい免許証の受領など全て1Fで受けました。
講習時も全席は使用せずに一つ置きで着席、窓は開いていて換気されていました。講習の開始時刻は13:40で、開始まで25分程待ちました。
新しい免許証を受け取ったのが14:15ごろでしたので、受付から1時間15分程度で完了しました。
ちなみに私は「優良運転者」で、天候は「雨」でしたので、この辺の条件が変わると必要な時間が変わるかも知れません。ご参考まで。response / report this review -

Worst place in Japan to get your license. There are a bunch of old timers thinking they will solve all problems in the streets by failing the testing takers. If you are a foreigner, you will likely get three times trouble there than any other place in Japan. It seems we know now, why we are seeing so many bad drivers in the streets nowadays.
They do prefer people who do right on tests and goes bad in the streets instead of passing good drivers. They do not understand their tests cannot prove a driver is good or not just because they make good drivers come back so many times. Of course, bad drivers must not pass, though.
Anyway, avoid this place at all costs. Live somewhere else and take your tests anywhere but here!
Although you will not have problems when renewing like me, do not get sleepy inside the class! If you do so, you will hear someone shouting at you just because the instructor is/was a police officer. Bad Example, anyway.
It seems they just do not want you to drive if you are a first timer.
I gave just one star, just because I could not give a Negative Number and that should -5, surely!
Also, access to the facility is very bad. It is good if you have a car, otherwise, since many people are going there to get their licenses for the first time, buses exist, but takes too long, they are expensive, and the quantity of rides available is not good enough.
People treats you well if you speak Japanese, otherwise, they are bossy sometimes.
I think a new LIcence Center should be built. It would be better if it was in Utsunomiya for example and without any of the current employees at Kanuma. Maybe the service would be better than this existing one.
In short words. This place overall is almost Terrible.response / report this review -
