Yummy and satisfying meals that warm you from the inside out. I had the kitsune curry donburi and it was delicious; my partner thought the same of his tempura curry donburi. There was a seperate vegetarian menu which was great, and the restaurant is very close to the Hanami-Koji-Dori for prime geisha spotting! Make sure you try the umeshu high ball - absolutely delicious!

Delicious curry, really friendly staff and the service was great. After our meal we were a stones throw from Gion and we're lucky enough to catch some Geisha travelling about.

After 11 miles of walking we craved Udon noodle. Found this place via google map and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend!

Local restaurant with compassion for vegetarians and vegans. There is a whole menu for veg diets. The staff even gave us a map of other friendly places in Kyoto.

Tasty food and really nice service. Various sorts of dishes. The drink menu is limited. Come here for great udon!

Amazing! We had an English speaking waitress, but it would have been fine regardless, because they have a very comprehensive vegetarian specific menu. (No fish stock in the broth either).

We had vegetable tempura curry Udon. Soooooo tasty. Highly recommend!!!!

The udon is literally re-heated from FamilyMart. I had FamilyMart Udon (with vegetable tempura on top) which I microwaved on my first night, and it cost me 300 yen. I came here, to mimikou and the udon is exactly the same as familymart, no difference at all. Except for the 900 yen price. :---( udon was soggy and not that nice at all.

Very good, has english menu and a seperate vegetarian menu of you ask them! I tried the sweet tofu udon curry bowl, delicious! The staff spoke a little english and was very nice. I recommand if you are a vegetarian visiting Gion!
