屋上から送り火見れなくなって、地域の人は悲しい思いもあるでしょう。

Not particularly good or bad. The guy at the postal window sort of insists on using タメ口 to foreigners. I wonder if he is being friendly or rude to us, but I will give him the benefit of a doubt. The location is somewhat 3 stars, hard to get here on foot the post office itself is probably the biggest in the vicinity so I'd give it 4 overall, the place was an average experience for me in Kyoto.

旧本局ですが、いまでは本局扱いはされていないので、ゆうゆう窓口などはありません。
