近鉄奈良線と大阪線との乗り換えが便利。

駅の周りに沢山ある焼肉屋の匂いが食欲を誘う駅です。4番のりばを発着する列車は次の大阪上本町が終点なので、こののりばだけ電光掲示板での案内がありません。(追記)2019/01/24から接近メロディーが追加されました。

よく駅員さんが案内放送を間違えて、「大阪上本町行きが発車します」と言うべきところを「大阪阿部野橋行きが発車します」と言っています。結構な頻度なので、注意して聞いてみては。

焼肉のにおいがすごい（笑）近鉄線に乗り換える時、出口に行きたい時は要注意！出口に行きたいのに、近鉄線の乗り換え口入ってしまう人が多い気がする

環状線と近鉄線の乗り換え改札口にある駅そば｢鶴橋庵｣駅そばにも関わらず、広い店内にイスもあるのでゆっくり食べられる。中華コーナーもある(*´ω｀*) オススメは肉そば

大阪最大級のコリアンタウン鶴橋。韓国料理屋さんなどが多くあり、独特の雰囲気を放っています。路地裏やJRから近鉄への乗り換えの道など、ちょっとした所でも見所がたくさんあります！

1番線向かいのホーム跡は昭和30年（1955年）に現在の形（2面4線）になる以前に使われていたものだったらしいです。ソースはWikipedia。もう60年近くも残ったままになってるんですね。

JR・近鉄のベビーカー車椅子の乗り換えがものすごーーーーく不便。一階まで降りて、西口から入り直さないとエレベーターがないです。

環状線⇒近鉄乗り換え時の特急券購入は、環状線ホームの窓口ではなく、この１番・２番のりばにある窓口がお勧め。窓口が二つあるので、待つコトも少ないです。
