Free entry if you’re over 65. Otherwise, 310 yen. Get an English tour if you don’t speak English - the desk is through Ishikawa Gate, turn right and go straight about 2 mins.

金沢を代表する観光スポットの一つで池泉回遊式庭園。加賀藩主前田侯の庭として延宝年間 (1673～1681年) 頃造られ、文政年間 (1818～1830年) に補修。宏大・幽邃・人力・蒼古・水泉・眺望の六勝を兼ね備えることから兼六園と名付けられた。岡山の後楽園、水戸の偕楽園とともに日本三名園の一つであり、国から特別名勝に指定されている。

2月のライトアップ無料開放やっていますが、ものすごく寒い。防寒具やカイロの用意を!!手袋もあったほうがいいかも。/Kenroku-en is very cold in winter night.So,if you don't want to catch cold,You'd take a warm suit,gloves and a portable body warmer.
