Parking for 300 yen at car park opposite the information center.
Short walk down to the bridge.
Interesting construction and fun to walk along the bridge before exploring the waterfall and river bed.
Good stop before exploring Ochiai village.

Terrifying bridge to cross if you can’t stand heights, and maybe even if you can. More fun than you expect, everyone ends up grinning it seems

The bridge it self is nothing special. Lot of scared people trying to cross it. High waterfall, good nature along the river, so good chance to have a lovely walk with your loved one

A little scary but cool. As we didnt have a car we went there with a private taxidriver/guide to take us around the valley and therefor was there almost completely alone. I have heard that it gets a bit much going at the same time as or with a bus, but this way it was quite spectacular! Costs 550 yen to pass but you can see it for free. Nice waterfall just down the street.

One of the hidden beauty of Japan, not easy to travel there but it was worth all the effort to go there. The scenery of the bridge and the surroundings are fantastic and also very well maintained. The walk across the bridge is fun, many tourists do it, young and old, single and couples too.

Great place for a morning stroll. You have to pay to cross the bridge, but otherwise free admission.

Worthwhile to stop for this historic bridge. Don't go there during weekends or holidays. Best time is mid-week.

It was fun walking across the vine bridge (now reinforced with metal for safety). Admission for adults is 550yen, and parking nearby at the gift shop is 510 yen. I recommend taking some time to eat a snack and walk around the river valley beneath the bridge afterward.

The bridge is nice but not the surroundings. Although we had a very nice soup. The two other bridges up the valley are much nicer.

Great experience. Not as scary as I thought. Felt very safe in the bridge.

Little tip: If you don't enter the bridge, you don't have to buy the ticket. You can still go to visit the nearby waterfall.
