  A good easy climb to the shrine. The tall trees provide a serene feeling even with the volume of tourists. The deer stick to the sides but are friendly.

  Make sure you check out the lighted lanterns room, it’s vey unique. The place is hidden in a corner. For pro photographer, bring a tripod to get the right exposure!

  Lotsa Stone lanterns & deers along e pathway to e Kasuga-Taisha. Beautiful place that u can take a lot of photos & have a nice stroll around. Totally captivated by e scenery around here ~

  My wife and I were here for the first time in early April, 2015, although we had been to Nara with packaged tours previously. The Nara Park is huge and it is desirable to take a bus to the faraway point you want to go and then walk back to your nearest point to leave. When we revisited Nara in May 2017 with a rented car, we did not bother to visit it again.

  A historic shrine that is surrounded by serene forest. Quite a chore to reach here, but being taken away from the city and into the forest surrounded by moss grown shrines is quite an experience. Be prepared for some walking.

  A very mysterious temple.
  
  If you want to see all of the Nara sightseeing places with here, you have to be hurry.
  
  A way to come here is a little bit far from Nara station, but visiting here is worth work.
  
  And renting a bicycle is a good to come here.
