  Lovely garden. If you are a photography hobbist or nature lover or both, you can't miss this. The landscape changes over various seasons. There are Japanese carps in the pond, different Flora and fauna as well as a local crane that lives in the park. Small shops are also located within the park.

  Nice little park in the city that doesn't take long to explore. Manicured gardens with coi ponds. Tea ceremony available. A few shops for memorabilia and restaurants by the entrance. Built in the 17th century as a tea garden, it also comes with a temple. 400 yen entrance fee.

  Eagerly anticipated visit to the Suizenji Jojuen Garden turned out to be a bit of a letdown.
  The scale and landscape of the garden were less impressive than all the hype about it being one of the best gardens in Japan, would suggest.The pond is really shallow.
  Still, it was a pleasant 45-minute stroll along a scenic route.

  Lovely miniature circular garden with undulating landscape of various shades of green in early autumn. This Momoyama style garden took about 80 years to build. There are many coloured koi in the fresh cold spring water pond ranging from golden, white, red, orange and its natural grey colour. There are also two majestic places of worship, Izumi Shinto Shrine And Inari Shrine with it multiple torii gates. Beautiful!

  I've never seen a garden quite like Suizenji Jojuen Garden- it is so beautiful! The hills are yellow at this point in the year, but the contrast of the yellowed grass against the immaculately shaped trees was just stunning. The water in the natural spring pond is so clear and you'll see plenty of ducks and big koi fish having a swim about in the water.
  
  There is a small entrance fee to go into the garden- if you have a 1 day tram pass you will be able to get a 10% discount off the admission price!

  I went to Izumi Shrine in the winter. There is snow covered all of area. It's beautiful, but I want to see without snow. TT^TT
