Staff are great, was injured and thankfully theres a sports clinic right next door. Stayed in and rest for two whole days.

A true hostel with very welcoming, nice people. The interior is that of an old style inn. Everything is indicated in both Japanese and English. The rooms are spacious and basic with air-conditioning and fan. You sleep in old school Japanese style, on a futon which you need to lay out yourself. Toilets and bathrooms may seem old but everything is clean. Soap is provided and towels can be rented at 100 yen per towel. Tale a shower on the top floor and enjoy the summer breeze with a morning view over the city. In the kitchen there is everything you need to cook and free thee, coffee is available. They even provide a nice piece of bread for 100 yen. The main entrance is also the main attraction, it is the meeting place where you can read, listen to a live concert or talk and bond with other travellers over a beer (only 300 yen). Highly recommended!

Bicycle friendly. There's an indoor parking space for your bike. Located on the old part of town but its just super near to the train station. Room is in the Ryokan styling, empty room with tatami matt, Japanese bedding and thick blanket. Shared toilet downstairs with hot water. Wifi is pretty fast. The lady manning the counter is super friendly and extremely helpful if you need information going around town. There's eateries and Family Mart nearby.

Very lovely main room, the rooms are on the old side but the host and place are very nice
Bicycles can also be rented and I recommend to rent them to see ise a lot easier

A nice guest house with friendly staff and a really cool-looking and super cozy lobby.. Also we found some old Nintendo games and could actually play them :) so nostalgic

The place is clean and pretty hip, but it's rough around the edges and has a heavy backpacker feel to it.
It still deserves extra kudos to be one of the very few places in Ise that isn't manicured to an inch of its life, thus serving a specific clientele. The rooms have authentic tatami beds that aren't far from what an expensive ryokan would offer.
Also Hiro, the owner, is a really cool guy who'll go any length to make you feel welcome.
