You can see it in every other romantic japanese movie or series. It’s a bit less romantic in real life as you have a busy road right alongside it, but it’s worth a stroll especially in the sunset

近年は流出が進んで砂が少ない。砂浜の散策であればお隣の七里ヶ浜がお薦め。

映画 稲村ジェーンの舞台、以前は自殺の名所。もっと昔は東に見える稲村ヶ崎に伏龍洞窟陣地という旧軍施設があったようです。心霊スポットとしても有名です。

公園のすぐ下の砂は砂鉄で、江戸時代は採取されていたようです。昔は海水浴場で、監視員もいました。最近は砂が減ってきたみたい…
