Love the unique system here, where they have a self service machine to order food. The seats are special too. Everyone is seated facing the wall, if you want to make an order, they will open the shutter. There is also a divider in between seats. If u come with your friend, u can remove the divider. If you r alone, u can enjoy some privacy. All in all, very very good!!

Cubicle style seating and efficient ordering process. You can customize the way you want your broth and noodle which i really enjoyed. Broth is also up there in terms of the ramen broths I liked. Visited here twice during my stay in Kyoto.

We had a fantastic meal here. It's worth lining up for. The line moves pretty quickly but be warned it snakes inside the restaurant. You can easily order food with only English.
The first stage is entering in what you want from the vending machine. Once you have your vending machine tickets you are moved to a new line inside the restaurant. They will provide you with a paper to select how you want your ramen. There is a clip board with a pen that will eventually reach you. From there you will be seated and get to enjoy your meal! You can buy add ons once you passed the vending machine (like more noodles!).
The food itself was really delicious but don't take my word for it - come and try it yourself! You won't regret it.response / report this review -

Thankfully other reviewers were pretty spot on here! Line was long, about 30 minutes to sit and then only about 5-10 for food. If you miss something after your initial order, no big deal. You get another opportunity to add on later. Finally the ramen - it's the best ramen and actually best meal I've had so far in Japan. I have a week left to top it but I wouldn't be too disappointed if I couldn't.

Didn't have to wait too long for a table, ordering is simple via the kiosk, paid and ushered the the table, for more than 1 pax you can close the divider in between.
The soup broth is very thick and flavorful. You can choose to add on half or another portion of noodles if you are still hungry.

Loved it! If you into ramen then please give it a try! At first it is a bit confusing but all in all, just make the order ahead of time, take the tickets, seat and handout your tickets in the booth and you almost done. Now just eat! Amazing experience

Always wished restaurant could accommodate loners with no friends more, and this restaurant just knows what's up. Top notch experience where you can eat comfortably while staring at a wall and not talk to anyone. It helps that the ramen is delicious too.

More of an experience than a place to eat great ramen. Must try this at least in Japan (they have these all over the country). Very unique inside, fast service. Tip, go early (ideally before 6PM) to avoid long lines.
