  Food was reasonably priced and delicious. If I had more time in Kyoto I would go again. So glad to have stumbled upon this place before I started the Path of Philosophy.

  The best beef udon I have ever ate. If there is a long line, wait there! You will be satisfied! For less then 1,000 yen's per person you will get great bowl of Japanese curry nuddles. We had udon with beef and whole-wheat with tofu and both were fantastic. English speaking personal with English menu.

  Staff were very friendly and polite. There is a wait however is the restaurant is small and popular with tourists and locals alike. The curry beef udon was very good. I'd recommended this place to any travellers in Japan.

  Best curry udon I've ever had. Long line, but well worth the wait. Great stop off for lunch between Nanzenji and all the other temples further north along the Philosopher's Trail. English menu available and easy to order without knowing any Japanese.

  Amazing noodle restaurant. Pretty fast, cheap and English menu available. There might be a long queue, of locals waiting to eat if you don't get there early, which is also indicative of its quality!
