  A parking lot. I wonder why Google map keeps on asking me to rate this place, but it is a parking lot, nothing else. If there is anything of interest around this place, it is the Hikone Castle information center right in front of it. The info center itself is 4-stars definitely, with a good variety of souvenirs that are quite reasonably priced.
