  グラバー邸の価値は不肖な僕にはよく分からなかったが、長崎市中心部を見下ろす眺めは一軒の価値があると思う。長崎造船所のイージス艦なんかもよく見える

  A wonderful place to spend the afternoon and learn about how a rich foreign guy impacted Nagasaki's history. Be mindful of energy and time, there are many many stairs and a lot of things to see.

  三菱重工業長崎造船所がよく見える。三菱重工業長崎造船所では戦艦武蔵の建造が行われたため、これを秘匿するために買収された経緯がある。

  長崎の著名な観光地の一つ。安政6年 (1859年) の長崎開港後に長崎に来住したイギリス人商人グラバー、リンガー、オルトの旧邸 (国重要文化財) があった敷地に、長崎市内に残っていた歴史的建造物を移築している。園内では最も高いところから低いところへ移動するような散策コースが取られている。料金は610円。
