  My family loves pastries and tell me these are some of the best they have eaten. Coffee is good too. Ignore the one rude waitress and you will have great experience.

  Very well designed coffee shop. The coffee tastes delicious too. Only downside is that it only opens at 11:30am - pretty late for a coffee house.

  Great food and coffee with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the style of the place. Music of different genres was playing in the background which complemented the vibe of the place. Highly recommend.

  This place came highly recommended on our visit to Kyoto and it didn't disappoint. Great ambience and fantastic food. It is on the pricy side but it was definitely worth it (two wagyu sandwiches + drinks for ¥5400).

  The sandwiches and dinner menu are so good. The coffee, average. Tried some of the smoothies, and all were great! Bit expensive, but I stay here for hours working so I cannot complain :)) The ambience is very conducive for reading and working - no power outlet though. But then again :))))) i love it here!

  Nice jungle bookstore atmosphere but dont understand the policies. You have to order a drink in order to order a pastry item. Does not make sense for groups, especially with few other customers. Wanted to share a pastry and drink with another but was not allowed. Also one drink per person and smoking allowed inside. Tea was average.

  Everybody can easily find this place. What a lovely place. Actually this cafe has two sections. the main section is cafe. and another section is bread shop. You can bought the bread and than eat the bread at cafe section. They will bring your bread with plate and a wet tissue. I just recommand the spot near the front window. You might feel you are in the forest.

  Perfect place to hang out in Kyoto with a cup of coffee and a book. The atmosphere is so inviting and cozy with large tables, vintage style furniture, books on the walls and sofas. They have excellent smoothies and shakes. My favorite smoothie is the orange-cardamom. The bakery attached to it provides delicious pastries (try the tartes with fruits of the season). You can also have lunch or dinner, or drinks (beer, wine). The only negative thing about this cafe is that they allow smoking.

  Probably the coolest cafe I've ever been to. The place has a great vibe. Whoever did the interior design should get an award. We had the cafe latte and the white mocha latte and they were great. The pastry was super tasty as well.
  
  The staff was friendly and they also had an English menu. If I were a local I'd make this my go-to cafe. Loved it.
