  Great time seeing Booker T Jones yesterday. The service and food were great and the acoustics awesome. English spoken here. We'll definitely come back!

  If you want a truly pretentious experience, then Blue Note Tokyo is the place to go. I had the most idiotic experience there last night. I was a guest of the band and given comp tickets. I showed up with my girlfriend and was given one of their seat order numbers: the last one. When we finally were called in I was told, "We have a seat here for you and your partner can sit over there. However, if you pay 3,500 yen extra, you can sit together here, or for 2,000 yen extra, you can sit together there." I looked at the guy and said, "In what universe does a a guest of the band have to sit separate from their partner or pay "extra" to sit together?" I took the 2,000 yen extra seat and said I was still going to contest it after the show. Well, that proved futile. When the manager came by to see why I was refusing to pay a seat charge for a comp, he smuggle said with a fake smile, "Please pay. Please pay. Please pay." After I did, because I didn't want to cause trouble for the group, he got a smiley look on his face like, "We got your money!"
  It actually goes beyond this because, it wasn't really about the money. It was the attitude of the staff. They run the place like a hotel. It even looks like the lobby of a hotel and those restaurants you see attached to hotel lobbies.
  When I met up in the bar with one of the band members after the show the waitress too was pressuring us to buy a drink even though I said the guy was with the band and we were just talking for a couple of minutes before he goes to pack up. The look on her face was like, "Does not computedoes not compute."
  Screw this place. The Beatles could come back for one show and even if I was given front row center I wouldn't step foot in Blue Note Tokyo.

  Very good jazz place. The music is great. It's a little cramped though. We were seated next to another couple, very close. It was so cramped, that the stuff had trouble putting the plates on our table.

  Great cocktails, food looked good (we didnt eat) view was good from all seats so I would prefer bar seating next time. Very well organised and a legendary venue for sure.

  Here 大川畑 is writing a message to tell you a thankfulness for having listened a wonderful music scene in your music hall of 'Blue Note Tokyo' on the 28th of October, was a first experience of me to visit your place in searching the way to your place with my Google Maps hopefully
  However by my effort to find 'Blue Note Tokyo' had me enjoy and delighted so much with the female group of "I am with her.." through the skillful play and song as feeling something will and proof in their performance probably
  In my next plan and schedule on calling on
  東京 city with 大川畑 would like to be there at the time of appearing on the stage with the singer of JUJU and bass player of ロン･カーター, to listen to their excellent and brilliant play in my expectation in the near future
  Please tell our sincere best regards for all of players who would perform in the great music hall of 'Blue Note Tokyo', from 大川畑 浩二 November 7 in 2,015
