This shop is a quiet coffee shop with a flow of customers. My experience was outstanding, the coffee beans they use are from weekeenders coffee, and have outstanding taste.
For those that enjoy a peaceful setting, with ambient noise of the owners (husband and wife) working in the background. Then come here for a nice change of pace. There is no music and the decor of the place is aesthetically pleasing.
The cakes are handmade by the wife and the husband makes outstanding espresso coffee.
For those that want to use a pc, it's not permitted here, and i prefer that rule. A small coffee shop family run would make sure that someone wouldn't camp there for the whole day ordering a single coffee. It's a rest spot and an escape from all the bustle that occurs in Kyoto.
Accidentally walked pass and found it! Quiet and cozy cafe with great coffee and service. Love it!
Lovely quiet place, with simple lunch options and good coffee.
Great little 3rd wave coffee shop in Kyoto. It doesn't appear they roast their own beans, but they do single source, pour overs, and espresso drinks as well as a full food menu. Pastries and the like for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. Staff is friendly and they have an English language menu available, though the staff appears not to speak English. Comfortable atmosphere, very chill. Counter and tables available. Bike parking outside.
Just moved to the neighborhood and I have a feeling this will become my usual cup of coffee on my way to work.
A very lovely little place with a nice atmosphere, decor and quality coffee. The place is very quiet and the visitors conform to this. Nice for the tranquility, but a little music would be welcome. Perfect for a relaxed coffee and reading session, mind though that laptops are not allowed.
no computers allowed.
Beautiful cafe but not much food here mostly just coffee
So gorgeous ,awsome, beatiful atmosphere cafe with delicious hand drip coffee.
ユルリとした時が味わえる空間。
静かで、それでいて御夫婦とお客の距離感が癖になりそう。
ブレンドcoffee、酸味がいいです。
One the espresso is a bit over the top. More on the trend of a Blue Bottle, border line sirupee that no amount of sugar will correct. Two they have this stupid no computer policy. WTF? That's what a coffee shop experience is also about, working quietly while sipping coffee. .. go figure. Go to Weekenders nearby. Way better!
