Great yakitori. Much bigger space then i had thought
Great traditional. Private rooms available with pre booking. Good for families !
Not bad. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, very polite, they make an effort to speak English. Some yakitori are definitely worth a try. The white rice is horribly overcooked. Between 3* and 4*.
A refined restaurant for yakitori. Ingredients are fresh, and environment is comfortable with simple elegant touch. They have bar seats in front of yakitori chef's preparation area, and also independent tatami rooms. Reservation in advance is strongly recommended.
The place is +100 years old building. The concept is casual izakaya skewer dishes. The do serve meal set as well but we went for ordering skewers separately instead.
Our friend who lives in Kyoto introduced us to this place. The food quality is good and our friend managed to reserve a separate room to have our casual dinner. She told me that she booked 3 months in advance so this is a popular place among locals.
It's really nice mood and ambience in the restaurant. I especially liked the garden inside of the restaurant. A hidden gem in Kyoto to foreigners and they even have a homepage in English. I recommend it.
Very accommodating for both gluten and nut allergies. Like someone else said, not very touristy (which was great for us). Delicious meatball and Japanese beef skewers.
Horrible! Greasy chicken, cold food. Do not recommend it at all!
Very friendly, enjoyable atmosphere, the staff spoke sufficient English. I just felt it was a bit expensive for the amount of food you get.
Traditional yakitori place with excellent tsukune (chicken meatball) skewers. Try the ones with rice mixed in - they were great. English menu available, but the restaurant is not touristy.
Great yakitori in traditional ambient. If you like chicken on skewers you will love this place!!!
