  取り扱い商品がそれなりに良いものが揃っており、安かろう悪かろうという印象はたりません。

  I was in Hikone about 10 years ago and at that time Viva City was pretty bad. Stores were either closed or were in pretty bad disrepair. It seems that over this last decade much effort has gone into fixing up and rebuilding the mall's image. Visiting again few weeks ago I was pleased fly surprised to see the place is thriving and now holds a variety of stores. In short, a good place to walk around if you are looking to do some shopping for yourself or the family.
