This restaurant saves home made udon noodles and served in a hot pot. The staff is friendly and the owner is very nice and attentive to great customer service and experience. She is friendly and the restaurant staff is extremely helpful. Definitely a must try experience in Kanazawa.

Fabulous food & genuine Japanese hospitality. I was looking for udon, and this place has spoiled it forever for me. Every udon I have, or make, from now will pale in comparison. They were spectacular hosts, and you get the full Japanese udon experience. There didn't seem to be other dishes, but you have good variety of udon & 3 courses for the price (udon,"dessert" of rice, and dessert)

Excellent traditional japanese food, brilliant atmosphere, very friendly staff. Some command of Japanese is advisable though.

Lovely traditional style restaurant and my table even had a view to the pretty Japanese garden out the back.
I chose the beef udon - the noodles and veges were so fresh and tasty. So many interesting flavours and textures. The waitresses were really sweet and helpful in explaining how to prepare and eat everything in the right way. Highly recommended spot for lunch or dinner.
