平成旅日記ー１２８
見延山 久遠寺から慶雲館へ。道のりは遠かったよ。
西暦705年開湯以来1300有余年、世界で一番古い温泉旅館としてギネスブックにも認定された当館は、南アルプスの麓、標高800メートルの2つの渓谷に挟まれた大自然の中に位地しております。自慢の温泉は、太古の昔より涸れる事なく湧き続ける自然湧出 、部屋は静かで、料理は満足。味噌入りチーズフォンデュやどんぐり蕎麦など印象的でしたね。お世話になりました。継続して下さいね。 Ｈ／１８年response / report this review -

It's the oldest hotel in the world. I like staying here because it has its nice mineral water and the same family for many generations operating it.

ギネス認定！！世界最古の旅館。
創業は西暦705年(日本では、なんと奈良時代)。およそ、1,300年与前より紡いできた歴史ある旅館です。

Fantastic service, and very comfortable hot springs. Be prepared for that sort of "mineral"-y smell that some hot spring water has. The food is excellent, as is to be expected from a Japanese hotel of this quality. Very little English available, but easy to make do with a little Japanese.

世界最古の宿でギネス認定されている。1300年前からの源泉を持ち、織田信長も入湯。創業705年。52代目当主が守る最高級旅館。2005年1300年記念して地質調査無しで、出るという信念と勘だけで掘り当てた温泉もアド街登場。

An amazing experience! Sumabashi. Very little English is spoken here, we speak no Japanese; the staff was very accommodating and understanding nonetheless. Completely worth the cost, the travel time (train from Tokyo to Minobu, van ride to Onsen)

This was defiantly the highlight of our trip to Japan. Super friendly staff, amazing food (probably the best Japanese food I ever had, and I had a lot of them before). The onsen itself was also great. Love the out door onsen, the views of the vally and autumn leaves are just breath taking!! Highly recommend!!!
