Dinner time with Miso soup and hot curry with rice! More than I expected on the summit of such a huge mountain! 😃
The hut is one of the only ones on the summit and offers a good hot meal and a good rest after climbing to the top.
If you are unlucky like me, you could have a person snorting like a freight train in your room. The smell in the toilets is, lets say not very pleasant, but hey, you're on the summit of Mount Fuji!
Free WiFi is also really nice to share your impressions of the day.
The people were accommodating.
4時間の格闘が終わって着いた山頂。癒やされました
Beautiful
一生の思い出。山頂で食べたいラーメン、忘れません。
また、登りたいなー
Two times I have hiked\climbed Mt Fuji. One was a night climb, the other was a day climb. Both times I had done in my late thirties. There are marked trails that you follow to the top. They sell canned oxygen at the convenience stores in the areas where there is trail access to Mt Fuji. It is my recommendation that you pick up a couple, the air starts to get very thin as you reach the 3/4 point, and you will find its use very refreshing.
It feels like a great accomplishment to reach the top. While there is not a lot in the top and things are a bit on the pricey side, the experience is worth it.
