The best ryokan that we have on the trip. The public baths are the iconic baths in Yufuin. The male and female public baths have fabulous views of the mountains. Especially nice are the two public family baths that does not need reservations. It is first come, first serve and you just to tag it as occupied. Make it easy for us to just go and use. The ryokan grounds are expansive and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The meals are absolutely delicious. The only improvements are there are no Wi-Fi in the ryokan so need to depend on your own.

Stayed for a night on way to yufuin town. Had a room with a nice internal onsen. Wonderful place.

went there just for onsen. they had both public and private onsen and you can use them without staying at the hotel. I enjoyed it.

유후인역에서 내려서 걸어갔다. 천천히 경치 구경하면서 갔더니 30분정도 걸린듯. 요금은 700엔. 코리언이라고 말하니 한국어 안내문을 준다. 수건도 샀다. 200엔. 수건은 왠만하면 챙겨가길.. 질이 별로다. 남탕으로 들어가니 한국사람들이 왁자지껄. 여기가 온양온천인가 하는 착각이.. 카메라 들고 들어와서 장난치는 무개념도 있었다. 한국사람들이 너무 많고 시끄럽게해서 별로였다. 탈의실 시설도 너무 구식이고 짐 분실우려도 있었지만 시골온천이라 그러려니 했다..

離れに泊まりました。中居さんは、とても若くて可愛らしく、キチンと教育されていると感じました。眺めの良いお風呂はとても気持ち良かったです。立ち寄り湯での利用客も多かったです。ご飯も美味しかったです。

They have one of the best outdoor onsens in Yufuin. If you are looking for traditional Japanese onsen hotel with views, this is the one.
