My Best Memories at the University of Helsinki Yarmouk University

Yarmouk University is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. its offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.

I have plenty of happy memories from my years in (YU) I came to the university as a postgrad, and integration into the Faculty of Fine Arts proved to be easy and straightforward. There was a good atmosphere: we got together for Thursdy coffee and plenty of parties. But we certainly got through plenty of work, too.

I have many good memories from this University. Many of my fellow students became close friends, and we spent countless pleasant moments not only in classrooms but also in cafee shop . We got to know the corridor of the Art department and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Main Building, and these places started to feel like our own even in our first year at the University.

I go to engineering school here, i like the campus, especially the new buildings like the mall building and the newest engineering school expansion, the university street has a lot of amazing options since the library doesn't have AC, the library is a piece of art building but needs more attention regarding work hours and air conditioning.

It a good campus. I especially love the library, although it would be great to extend working hours (8:30-430 I think). The University St. is great with a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are guards at the campus gates asking for IDs, but if you look confidant and avoided eye-contact you will pass without being questioned.

I came here as my study abroad. I came to the language center and also took a few classes in biology. I have got to say the language center is very accommodating. The professors are super nice, clear, and helpful. I am really enjoying my experience. If you have an issue they are here to help. Also the biology professors are great. They really know their info back and fourth. They were also super helpful and want you to learn. Overall experience with professors are great.

The commons has authentic and tasty Arabic food. The campus is rather dirty with trash everywhere, and building are not all in the best shape, but you must remember this is the Middle East.

I do reccomend this university for an authentic experience in learning Arabic, since its a small city with less foreigners, you are forced to use the language which further concretes what you learn.
