Friendly helpful local bedouin people, speak good English, providing understanding desert tours and hiking is the mist enjoyable I recommend.

8.30.17 - It's a large desert area that requires a jeep/SUV type vehicle, preferably with 4WD. You are greeted by a local guide and prices are posted on a map outlining what sites you see and how many hours it will take. The time estimates are for larger groups.
The truth about this park is that only a few destinations are worth the time, not necessarily the money. Depending on how engaged your guide is, it's hit or miss. How much value you will get for what you pay depends on how you see it. We got very very little, however, the views looked liked we were in The Martian.
At first you park your car in the main entrance before finding a guide and then you drive to the next parking site further in the park to the village. This is where you watch your guide get gas with the guide money. From there you hop in his vehicle and start the tour.
In total I think we drove around 4 km to get to each site before settling at #3 Sunset Point (Strava Map Picture). We started at 1530 and finished by 1930 and paid 59 JOD.response / report this review -

been here on a safari the ambiance at night is one of a kind and the people are nice, However I didnt like the food much
