The Wadi Rum Bedouin tented camp run by owner Mohammed provides excellent and sustainable accommodation in the glorious desert of Wadi Rum. You can park your car in the village at Mohammed's house and he will bring you to the car by 4WD. The traditional bedouin BBQ or Zohr dinner is warmly recommended! It is taken in the big tent which serves as joint seating and dining. There is hot water and showers in the bathroom building. Hot water and electricity by solar energy. Mohammed also organizes a 4WD excursion in the Wadi which was quite good. Overall an amazing experience to spend a night here en route from Petra to Aqaba.

A brilliant place to stay and a wonderful experience. We spent two days hiking and scrambling with Bedouin guides and two nights at the camp. The hiking was brilliant (and the guides helpful especially during a few tricky parts). The camp brilliant - clean and airy tents (the best nights sleep we'd had for ages), new clean washrooms and delicious dinner served in a communal Bedouin tent (some of the best food we had in Jordan). The camp is right by the main sunset spot, so whilst others had to be driven out here we could wander from out tent to watch the sun set over Wadi Rum.

We just loved it. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night. The food is great and I never slept so good in Jordan. U can’t hear a noise at night and it’s so calm.
The camel 🐪 ride back to the car was an amazing experience 😉

This fantastic Beduine camp offered us all we needed. Comfy tents, delicious Beduine style food cooked in the ground and a breathtaking night under the stars in complete quietness. Also the Jeep tour the next day with our great guide Mussa was a nice adventure and not too exhaustig. We appreciated the great hospitality we were able to witness and can highly recommend a night in this authentic and affordable Beduine camp!

We stayed at Mohammed's camp for one night following a full day camel treck through the desert. The camp is very comfortable and we didn't miss any amenities. The dinner prepared by Mohammed's team (chicken cooked for 2h in the Bedouin "underground" oven) was one of the nicest meals we had whilst in Jordan, something really special! Mohammed was very responsive when we organised the trip and catered to all our wishes.

No doubt, I would also recommend the camel treck, which Mohammed helped to organise, over the Jeep tour to anyone. Although it is not possible to visit all sites in Wadi Rum on camel in just one day, it is a unique experience to spend an entire day with these friendly and calm animals and their experienced guides. In case you had any doubts about the animals' welfare, we got the impression at all times that animals are treated well (not comparable to Petra's donkeys/mules!). Our guide Salim even taught us how to steer the camels ourselves towards the end of the day which was a great experience.

I stayed at the Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp for two nights with four close friends last week and it was one of the most amazing trips of our lives. Mohammad's camp is stunning with amazing views of the desert including the perfect place to watch the sunset. The camp is more like glamping (glamorous camping) then camping. It's very clean and comfortable with new bathrooms and showers. The views and the accommodations were great, but Mohammad was really what made our experience at Wadi Rum so wonderful. Mohammad is the perfect host and really does an amazing job with customer service. He makes you feel right at home and part of the family rather than a guest at a large hotel. One of my friends was initially nervous traveling to Jordan, but Mohammad made her feel completely safe. He helped us to organize transportation throughout the entire trip, he was extremely responsive leading up to the trip, and he really went out of his way to make sure we had a traditional bedouin experience. I would absolutely recommend Mohammad's camp if you have the chance to go to Wadi Rum.

We loved our stay at Mohammed's Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp.
Everything was perfect: the beautiful sunset watched from a rock which shelters the camp, the lovely living tent where there was a constant supply of Bedouin tea being kept warm on the fire.
The tent we slept in was very clean and comfortable, and we were given extra blankets which kept us super warm in the night!
We are 2 women travelling alone and felt very safe and respected at the camp.
The jeep tour we had in the day was great as well, we really felt like we got a good insight into desert life!
If we had dreamt of our time in Wadi Rum, this would have been it..
100% recommend and we'll be back..

Mohammad runs a world class experience in the heart of the Wadi Rum Desert. Recently renovated, his campsite is both authentic and comfortable, but also does not hinder a very close feeling between the explorer and the magic of this unique desert environment. The Bedouins are historically known for their high standard of hospitality, and Mohammad is no exception. He will do everything he can to make you and your group feel like real nomads, traversing the diverse terrain, eating the most delicious Jordanian cuisine, and being a part of the rich history Wadi Rum has to offer. There's always something new to discover and after one stay at Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp, you'll want to keep bringing others back year after year!

We had a really nice stay at Mohammad's Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum. The camp is spectacularly located with a nice view of the sunset. But remember that this is still the desert, so everything is really basic and in winter times it can be cold during the night. Blankets and fire in the common area helped though.
We did two hiking tours with our guide Khalid who could tell us a lot about the Wadi Rum and the Bedouin life.
