  Easy border crossing from IS to JD.
  Fast and friendly officers.
  
  We came from the Dead Sea with the public bus, who will drop you off 1 km from the border. It is only a short walk from here.
  
  After crossing there are only little options in terms of transportation, so pick the taxi driver wisely and try to bargain a little.
  
  They are known for ripping off tourists, so beware of that.
  
  With the VISA you get here, you can travel without problems around Jordan and leaving the country via AMM Airport is also for free - which makes it the perfect border crossing.
  
  Just think whether the Jordan Pass might be valuable for you if you want to than just Petra and Wadi Rum

  In my case a reasonably quick border crossing. Free visa to Jordan. The only downsides are lack of public transportation and the lack of an ATM on the Jordan side. There is money exchange, but they charge pretty high commission for low amounts.

  You can get the visa for free when you ever Jordan at this border (and stay for at least three days in the country and visit Petra). This was the case in January 2018. However this can change anytime of course.

  20-25 minutes to get through the border. (both ways)
  No exit tax and visa fees if you stay more than 3 nights in Jordan and go to Petra
  Waiting areas with air co on the Israeli side while waiting for the taxi.
  On Israeli side, 40 shekels from the border to the airport.
  On Jordan side, 15 dinars from the border to Aqaba downtown

  Very fast and easy to cross, you can walk from Israel to Jordan, the for going to Aqaba you need to take a taxi, we paid 5 dinars per person in a taxi (we were three). I had the Jordan Pass, so I did not have to pay for the visa fee because is included in the Pass.

  Comptez 1 petite heure pour traverser la frontière, dans un sens comme dans l'autre.
  
  La sortie d'Israël est payante. Prévoir environ 110 shekels par personne.
  
  Il y a un bureau de change côté jordanien (à la douane), mais les taux sont prohibitifs.
  
  Si vous êtes en possession du "Jordan Pass", le visa d'entrée en Jordanie est gratuit
