Perfectly unobstructed view of Jabal Ashrafieh from their terrace—one of the nicest hills to look at in Amman. A great way to sit and enjoy some refreshments and read a book or talk with friends. The service is a bit slow though because it's pretty busy and there's only one guy in the kitchen as far as I can tell.

Sad to see a mistake done by a respectful foundation! How come to accept a map to be on display with such a huge mistake!

Beautiful hidden enclave of art in Amman. Explore all the indoor and outdoor spaces. Highly recommend you stay curious here. Plus, there’s a beautiful view of the city and a cafe.

One of the hip places in Amman. Great exhibitions, amazing view from the downtown, nice garden, beautiful buildings. If you visit Amman, make sure you have a chance to go there.

Going down hill, after visiting the gallery of fine arts just found this amazing contemporary place, full of nice varied spaces, with sculptures, some historic ruins, a library and an exhbition - "The pomegranate and the sleeping ghoul" . The view is also amazing and it allowed me to rest and to be isolated of the chaos of Amman. Love it!

Also in the Creative Trail of the neighborhood of Jebel al-Weibdeh in Amman lies Darat al-Funun. Founded in 1993 it houses three traditional buildings of the 1920s, alongside the archaeological remains of a six-century Byzantine church built over a Roman shrine.

The main three-floored building of the complex served until 1938 as the official residence of the British Commander of the Arab Legion, Colonel F. G. Peake, and afterwards as a club for the British Officers until 1956.

Darat al Funun is a venue for Jordanian artists, poets and musicians as well as those from the Arab world at large. You can drink Turkish coffee on the tables around the fountain in its courtyard.
