The food was awesome, the hosts were on the ball and very nice. But calling it a cooking class is a bit of a stretch. More of a cooking experience. Definitely recommend, just don't expect to much hands on actual cooking.

We loved our evening with Petra Kitchen. The staff were kind, informative and funny and the meal we made was one of the best that we had in Jordan. Highly recommend!

It was a very pleasant evening spent with other people from all over the world. It's a nove day to enjoy the delicious Giordanian cousine through a cooking class.

    Small portions, over rated, overpriced,
US$15 for a so called vegetarian dish, tomatoes and rice! When I questioned response was unhelpful. My impression was squeeze as much out of the tourists as possible. Acknowledge tourists pay more however greed bordering on theft is not acceptable.

It was a nice evening. We did a lot of cooking courses before, so this was not our best experience. But it was funny and you learned a little bit about Arabic cooking and the eating culture. We had a great group of 6 people. We can recommend this spot to get a nice view to Arabic food.

Did not learn to cook Arabian dishes here though wish we had had time to. Did drink Turkish coffee and watch the world go by. We were allowed to charge our devices here. Very helpful.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I found it through TripAdvisor and the reviews on there were all true. The staff are wonderful, you get excellent guidance on food preparation technique, explanations of what you're cooking and the food itself is wonderful. You get a good couple of hours in there for your money and it's well worth it. You'll find there's more food at the end than you can comfortably eat. Definitely consider making this a stop on your trip to Wadi Musa if you're going to Petra but enjoy cooking or trying new cuisine.

I LOVED Petra Kitchen! The whole adventure is fun, hospitable, and well-organized. You get to take the recipes home and all are easy to recreate. And the best part - the food is absolutely delicious!!!! I truly enjoyed every moment. The chef and staff have great senses of humour and love to laugh. If you like food and/or cooking, you will like Petra Kitchen.
