The Ocean/Al Madima Al Munawara St.

The ‘The Ocean’ is a sea food restaurant situated in the Al Madima Al Munawara St. .

(Atmosphere/decor)
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, and very relaxing decor and color. Not always you need to book a table.

(The menu/dishes)
The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters. I had the traditional Lebanes maza as you can see in the picture but they do have many other types of starters. They were exquisite. The main course I had Grill Salmon, it was amazing. It all was followed by a delicious Muhalbya for dessert and plate of fruit and a cup of Arabian coffee which are free.

The waiters
They are very nice and friendly.

Recommendation
Despite the $$$ price of the food , I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to the Ocean restaurant.

This is an excellent place!!
Went with a friend and family, they offered us to choose a non-smoking table! (you know how important that is, if know about places here in Amman)
They served the starters pretty quick.
Took some time to bring out the main dish (we picked fresh fish to be grilled), but it was worth the wait! The food was delicious.
They have a prayer room, too.
At the end, they also served complimentary rice pudding as dessert! And topped it with Arab coffee. You can't go wrong
My friend was very happy too.

One of the best sea food restaurants in the town, it is very clean, food is tasty, cosy place, good service and friendly staff. Parking is bad.

Servants are rude and just rude!
Service charge is not worth the service, and the food they serve is not really fresh!
Its clearlt re-heated and not taken care of!!

Good service. Clean tables and utilities.
Welcoming staff. Clean bathroom s. Though the cleaning man keeps following customers to give them tissue paper and soap.. It's annoying way to solicitor money. Sometimes,
we do not carry coins to give.

Taste is variable
Amount of soup solids such as fish or crab is variable fee from visit to visit.
Yesterday I was lucky to have more fish chunks than the visit before
The cashier did not return coin change. He said he did not have coins .
I do not know if this is an isolated incident or a habit

They add another tax 16% tax for every kg food u buy and u want to be grilled plus 2.5 jd/kg for this service , and when u ask them way is this tax they answered u should know if u buy from here ?!!! So disappointing

This is a specialized restaurant in serving sea food. Great taste, variety of contents, you can choose your food by yourself before looking, all kinds of salads in addition to appetizers. It's clean, delicious and the service is excellent. A parking lot is available.

Ordered for pick up. Great customer service, extra clean property, inside and out, great respectful staff. They even have sushi.

I visit the place often to buy fish. They usually have good selection and different options. You can select your items and have it cooked (you pay extra for that). There is also a restaurant above the shop where you can enjoy their menu which is mainly seafood yet they still offer some chicken and steak dishes
