The Largest mosque in Jordan ,Build in 2005 , the mosque was designed by the Egyptian architect - Dr. Khaled Azzam.
The Mosque and held up to 5500 prayer.
Sourand by the king hussein Park.
Built in the Islamic, Omayyad-Ottoman architectural style, but very much Ammanesque in look, the mosque has four minarets and one large dome.
The mosque has huge Car Parking and good setup for disabled people.

Its a beautiful mosque. I offered Jumma prayer in the mosque but the staff didnt let me stay longer. They closed the gate as soon as the prayer was finished.

King Hussein Mosque is the largest mosque in Jordan. Not to be confused with the 1924 Grand Al-Husseini Mosque, also known as King Hussein Mosque, from Downtown Amman.

King Hussein Mosque was built in 2005 in the reign of King Abdullah II in West Amman, specifically in Al Hussein Public Parks at King Abdullah II Street near King Hussein Medical Center. The mosque is located at an altitude of 1013 m above sea level at a strategic place overlooking Amman and the mountains of Wadi as-Seer, it can be seen from most parts of Amman. It is square and features four minarets and marble floors.
