Very beautiful mosque with chess board design. A local told us very interesting story about the mosque about 2 friends one following Islam & the other Christianity. Their disagreement resulted in the building of this mosque as per the local.

Non Muslim women can get Burkha or Obbaya at the shop below the Mosque. The Charges are 3 JD each. ( or approx 300 Rs each for 20 to 30 minutes of wearing, which is quite costly ). The Toilets attached to the shops below the mosque are clean. As someone returns the Borkha or Obaya the girls in the shop insist to buy something. The things sold are very costly. The mosque is great. This is the only mosque in Amman where visitors can enter when Namaz or prayer is not happening.

It is one of the largest mosques you can find in Amman . The greatest thing is there is no pillars separating the rows.
