Khaled was professional and very helpful. All his staff was super friendly. They have the best mint tea I’ve ever tasted. Every human needs to visit Wadi Rum in their lifetime. The only downside was the bed. But the experience and people outweighed that.

Great place to stay in Wadi Rum. Good food, plenty. Tents were pretty comfortable and clean. Power and water pumps turned off in morning so plan ahead. We werent aware no towels were provided. Worth the trip but bring a towel and some bottled water for drinking.

Amazing location, great service, and I loved dealing with Khaled and the rest of the staff. Definitely would recommend to everyone that wants to go to Wadi Rum, and will be going back myself. The camps were nice and clean, the food was good, and the company was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. Ra'ed and Rasheed are friendly and helpful Bedouin guides. Food served was cooked in authentic Bedouin manner (zarg) and it was delicious. At night you can see shooting stars. Also do not miss the sunrise and sunset from the mountain top.

What are you looking for when you are going to a bedouin camp in the desert of Wadi Rum? I know what I am looking for: a simple lodging that fits in and emphasizes the unique ambience of vast nature, a good cup of sweet tea and a group of guides who are knowledgable and welcoming.
All this I have found perfectly at Khaled's Camp! Khaled, the owner, and his colleagues are amazing people who know every corner of desert as good as their pocket, it seems, and have so many fascinating and fabulous stories to tell that hours can pass by easily without you realizing it.
Furthermore, Khaled is one of the few guides who have really grown up living as bedouins, living in tents and travelling through Wadi Rum. Most of the people in Rum nowadays have grown up in the small village. Not so Khaled however, which is why he is the perfect guide to share the typical Bedouin way of life.
The camp itself is kept very simple but very nice. There are private tents in different sizes for every need and a good bathroom with toilets and shower. The food is very good and sometimes you can even watch them making it, using fascinating tricks.
The best part about the camp, however, is it's location. It is snuggeling up to a little mountain which gives shelter from sun and wind and is outright spectacular to climb up (easy 5 minutes climb) to watch sunset and sunrise.
All in all, it's a great camp with incredibly hospitable and witty people who will definitely make your experience in Wadi Rum unforgettable!

Tip: Definitely do not miss sunset and sunrise from the mountaintop.
Tip2: The bedouins will help you out with anything you may need or want! Don't be shy to ask!

I was planning a trip to Wadi Rum with a friend and we were wondering where to stay there. I got Khaleds contact from a friend who advised us to go there. He gave us information before our staying there (how to go there from Amman) and also organized a taxi driver from Aqaba, the city where the JETT-Busses arrive directly to Wadi Rum, where Khaled was waiting for us.
Starting with his Jeep through the desert, getting so many nice impressions and helpful information about the nature, people and life there was an amazing experience. Arriving at the camp, we got a really nice tent with a view to the mountains and a part of the desert. Everybody in the camp was really friendly and offering awesome tea all the time.
We just enjoyed the silence around us and the possibility to go around, climb on small hills so that you can look around the area. Staying 2 days in the camp, Khaled organized a day-camel-trip and I jeep tour for us.
Next to that, the time sitting around the fire, playing rababeh and talking to other guests and Khaled’s friends and family was also a great experience which I don’t want to miss at all!
