K-1 Fighters is founded by KRU Talal Anagreh; a Certified KRU from KRU Muay Thai Association, holds a 6 Dan black belt in Kickboxing from the Arab Association for kickboxing who won:

What K-1 stands for: Started in 1993 K-1 is a kickboxing Platform. The letter K in K-1 is officially designated as a representation of words karate, kickboxing, kung fu, kempo, kakutougi (the generic Japanese term for "combat sports"), and Taekwondo.
