  Hotels in Irbid are catastrophic. Joude is way not the best, but at least people are nice, and I had a feeling of being home. For western standards it's a 1*. Paint falling down, prehistoric bathroom, internet is clumsy. But rooms are very big, and it's kind of quiet.
  The garden restaurant is also ok.

  Nice hotel near Yarmouk University, lots of restaurants and shops - including Irbid's main shopping mall -, very helpful service, moderate pricing, big parking lot.
