Totally worth visiting. The one of the historical placed preserved in very good and decent conditions, despite some semi destroyed monuments/buildings. There are lot of things to see and I spent around 4 hours there without even going everywhere and definitely not behind every corner. Took around 500 hundreds pictures. There are a lot beautiful places to take pictures from and to remember. Also due to nature of the place a lot of walking involved, climbing on stone ladder, not suitable place for people with knee and heart problems – only brief sightseeing tour. Overall, I like architecture of the Middle East and those times, pillars, alleys and gardens looked interesting and even magic, some places of the Jerash are so quiet even with lots of tourists walking around. I had a private tour to Jerash with some quick guide from a tour guide, and afterwards just walked by myself and learning and taking pictures and enjoyed the place. Public toilets were available at the café, the café is very basic and was serving some basic snacks and beverages, and as far as I remember where weren’t any decent food to have a normal lunch. And coffee, everywhere coffee with milk and lots of sugar, they are not asking about adding or not it to the coffee :)

This pin on Maps points to the location of a building complex housing cafeterias, restrooms, souvenir shops and the entry ticket sales point for Jerash. This is not a museum as labeled. If you are looking for a museum, the archaeological museum is on a hill East of the Oval Plaza inside the archaeological park proper. There are also displays inside the visitor center.
