Great location not too busy street but close to main veign, accommodating owner and good view. It certainly incorporates the famous Middle Eastern Hospitality very gracious considering I was there in low season and trying times for the region 2015 Summer. Memorable. Hostel/hotel. Keep it up.

It's perfectly located to have everything in a easy walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful with any of our questions like renting a car or getting a transportation to Israel (cheaper for two than taking the bus!). Besides being helpful they were also super friendly. The room was spacious and clean, the beds comfortable.
The showers had hot water in the mornings and evenings for about 4 hours. If you want a hot shower outside of these times you can tell the reception and they'll turn it on anytime for you.
As it's right in the center you have a bit of traffic noise at nights. We didn't mind though. Also it's in the second floor so there are some stairs to climb.

A perfect place to stay in Amman when making a on-budget-trip or for backpackers. During our stay here we have experienced a friendly and funny contact with the staff and other guests. They all were nice people who helped us with any questions. Very special is the main room, where the reception is placed - it is like a meeting point of all people in the hostel - very cozy at all. The location of the hostel is very good - 10 min. of walk to the Roman Theater and the downtown. But of course we also experienced some bad things, like the cold water in the bath (although they said it will be warm). Neither the breakfast was surprising - vegetables not to fresh, too much of sweet things.. I'd better pay more and have a better breakfast. Through it, I still recommend it (not for those who want experience luxury, but for people who need just a place to sleep when visiting the city of Amman).

Lovely host!!! Andrew is amazing, he helped us with everything we needed, great recommendations and the place is better than in the pictures. I promisse if you need a kind of budget place in Amman stay here, you wont regret.

Guys, this is one of the best hostels I have ever been to and what made it special was the warmth of their staff. They were kind, warm-hearted and extremely kind! The rooms are quite nice, really clean and the breakfast is quite complete. If you are looking for a place to stay in Amman, stay with them, there is no better place in my opinion. You will be glad you did :)

Avoid if possible

The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because I stayed at a worse place - Elgee Hotel in Petra

Pros
Location, location, location! Walking distance to everything!
Noisy fan drowns out the loud street noises
Rooms were cold but they provided two blankets.

Cons
Filthy stairs leading upto the building
Everything inside also just felt dirty
Nowhere to keep your things in the bathrooms
Drivers hang around in the lobby trying to get you to do tours with them
They charge JD25 for airport pickup. Would have been half that price on Uber.
There is a cooker in the kitchen but you’re only allowed to boil water in it.
Doors are locked at night and you need to wake up the Manager to open them.
I got a private room so paid extra. May have been value for money for the dorms but I felt cheated that this place had an average score of 8.
This was the first place I stayed in Jordan and it gave me a bad first impression about the cleanliness of accomodation in the country (which was subsequently proven wrong in other hotels).

Solid , clean, hotel/ hostel with nice interiour decorations. Up 5 flights of stairs. Very good to get some exercize. Nice people. Pretty rooms.

Great hostel, friendly staff! A lot of the negative reviews are clearly from people who misunderstand the concept of budget accomodation. that being said, the hotel is in a great area, with lots of cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions near. The staff are awesome and always happy to help you. I love it here and have been back three times!

It is a dirty little place with plenty of street noise in the background but if you are a true backpacker who would take a sleeping bag on a floor you cant beat the price at the Cliff and it even has a Falafel restaurant next door that has 1JD baskets of falafel and all the hummus and veg dishes you can eat. We ate a full dinner for 6 people for 8JD total. Yumm! The showers are a bit nasty and communal. The bathroom is a sight for sure. No towels provided, no pillowcase, unwashed old blankets, and it smells like my grandmothers guest bed.
But, the help is nice and the trips they organize are very good. We took the one to Petra that stops at all of the sights along the way. I recommend the Cliff for all of your cheap dirty stay needs. Free Wifi also.
