  Arts River Mosaic Factory & Handicraft Centre – Madaba (Central Jordan)
  Located about 30 kilometres south-west of Amman and 6 kms behind Mount Nebo – Famous for Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics - A mosaic is a piece of art or image made from the assembling of small pieces of coloured stone, glass, or other materials collectively called ‘tesserae’ - Used in decorative arts - Arts River Mosaics in Madaba houses a large collection of various mosaics and handicrafts which the visitors can buy for decorative purposes – Visitors to Mount Nebo stop over this factory to get a view and purchase a few.

  Visited the handicraft store. Was very impressed with the artwork. Unfortunately, all pieces are very expensivealong with the exchange rate a little too costly. If you like art then this is a good place to find some fantastic pieces.

  They have a wonderful workshop and very good - excellent quality gifts that you can by as a souvenir from Jordan, prices are very reasonable.

  They try to force you to buy something here. Almost stuffs here are quite expensive. It's your choice. Overall i don't like the way they sell for you.

  Comprehensive shopping place for Jordanian souvenirs at reasonable prices. There, you can watch and learn the techniques of making mosaic. Also, a variety of dead Sea products are available at low prices.
