  The best food in Jordan! We loved it so much we went back again the next night. The view from the balcony is lovely, but it is the taste of the food that really counts. The lemon and garlic prawns are great, as is everything else we tried.

  This is the BEST restaurant in Aqaba! Their food is to die for! The owner is so friendly and is constantly offering complimentary appetizers, dessert, and tea! We have gone here almost every night of our stay in Aqaba! The prices are extremely reasonable as well. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

  Great place to eat in Aqaba!!! We came for a first time and we kept returning each day, 3 days in a row. Sapri welcomed us with a smile and tasty local apetizers. The food is wonderful and the service the same! We would surely recommend Al Shami!

  Stumbled across this little place by accident and ordered some small plates of veggie based foods. Turned out to be a very filling and delicious meal. Plus my server was so kind and friendly, even brought me a complimentary side salad, mint tea and hooked me up with their Wi-Fi. All very inexpensive, and deserving of a great tip. I love Jordan!

  Very nice local restaurant. It's not easy to find affordable restaurant in Aqaba. Price-quality ratio in restaurants is often very low. In Al Shami prices are low and the quality above average. Forget Ali Baba and other overpriced and low-quality restaurants.

  If you want to eat like a local, this is the place to go when in Aqaba. Tasty traditional food, big portions and very nice and helpful waiters. You must try homemade lemonade with fresh mint!

  Great place, upstairs with air con and a small balcony (sit there!). Very tasty food, had the grilled fish and shish kebab 😋. Staff are so friendly and helpful, very keen to please. Good value and fair prices.
