مسجد السخنة القديم من اقدم مساجد السخنة اقيم على انقاض خان قديم ومنطقة السخنة كانت ممر للتجارة وكلنت تمر منها قوافل قريش بما يعرف يرحلة الشتاء والصيف ولقد ورد في الأثر ان النبي الكريم استراح فيها لليلة اثناء تجارته لأم المؤمنين خديجة رضي الله عنها وارضاها

إنه لمسجد طيب جميل قديم بسيط بناه الشيشان في منطقة السخنه ويقع على مقربة من مقبرة الشيشان على مدخل البلدة.
