This is the spot! If you want to go to the beach, and relax with your family and eat some good food. Beers are cold and they have a great variety of drinks. Its located in St Catherine (1 st left at the Hellshire roundabout). Drive all the way down u will see Fort Clarence beach make immediate right it would be the 3rd beach entrance on your left

One of my favorite places to visit while in Jamaica. Has a real local feel, not overcrowded, excellent food and good service. Highly recommend the steamed fish. Small entry fee but totally worth it.

I’ve been there last year, during a business trip, and due to the good reviews I had read on Google I decided to check out this place. Such a friendly and lovely staff! Excellent customer service. This definitely brings me good memories from Jamaica :)

Awesome atmosphere! White sand, clean clear blue water..but I was slightly disappointed with the shrimp meal I ordered..let’s just say there was little to no shrimp and full of seasonings and potatoes. But overall everything else was great!

Waves Beach is a great beach on the south coast of Jamaica, located approximately six miles from the centre of Portmore, and 0.5 kilometres (0.31 miles) from the Hellshire main road in the parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica.

They offer local seaside dishes such as bammy, steamed fish, festival, lobster and much more.

It's a quiet beach, but it's not clean 100% i saw plastic bottles scattering in some part of it..the fish and Lobster prices are skyrocketing!! I did not buy any which i could have but decided to eat somewher else where prices are more reasonable.the owner of the restaurant is too greedy .

The food is fresh, the vibes are good, and it's an all around chill place to hang out. However bear in mind there is an entrance fee and limited parking. There is also a "beach" next door which is not equipped with the proper facilities (not sure why the operators are still allowed to own there) and will charge you regardless. So make sure you know where you are going and collect enough info beforehand from Google guides.

Clean Beach that you can meet up with friends and hang out. There's an entrance fee and limited parking. If you just want to go for a swim, chill out, easy some seafood or have a few drinks. This is an option you can explore. It's just next door to the famous For Clarence Beach.

They charge $200 per person to enter the premise although we were just having lunch, no armbands were issued.

The presentation of the meals were Good, however not very tasty.

    Ambience is good though.

Beautiful beach. Big waves and warm breezes. I spent about 2 hrs here and got quite the tan with some burn.

It's not a terrible drive from Kingston. You get a decent view of the city and some county.

The price of fish for non-locals is daylight robbery. Paid equivalent of $120 USD for 2 fish and festival that was of poor quality. They just wan to make a quick buck. We live in Kingston, but will NEVER go back, they have no forward thinking, just want an easy $
