Vintage Vibes Wine ‘N’ Cheese Bar & Discothèque is conceptualized by Andrew Carey, who also owns and operates Vintage Vibes Disco (VVD), and operates within the ambit of the food and beverage industry.

As the name implies, the main (not only) features will be a liquor bar, a cheese bar, and interactive entertainment. It is located in an established commercial area in Kingston (Consumer Plaza, Constant Spring Road). This small “family/friend oriented” establishment caters mainly for the urban population comprising middle/mature age group with middle/upper income. Under normal settings, it will be able to accommodate 36 patrons seated. However, under modified settings, with the centre piece cleared and converted to a free area for mingling, the overall capacity may extend to about 50 persons.
In addition to cheese dishes, authentic Jamaican food (jerked pork, bammy, and fried-fish) will also be featured.

The atmosphere is enhanced with serenading vintage music from all genres (including reggae, blues, jazz, Latin, disco, and calypso), accompanied with the respective dance routines performed by in-house professional dancers and patrons who wish to participate at will...or under influence!

The aesthetics and ambience depict a vintage and ‘vibesy’ appeal, which is synonymous with the name and nature of Vintage Vibes. This venue also doubles as the headquarters and office for Vintage Vibes Disco.

In all aspects of its operations, Vintage Vibes adopts practices that are conducive to established environmentally friendly principles. One example is the paramount usage of reusable (glass, crystal, wooden, and silverware) vessels and utensils, and the utilization of biodegradable substitutes from natural derivatives.

The logo – which will develop into a service mark – and the slogan will be used in conjunction with the business name wherever applicable to enhance the conspicuity of the service offering.

Vintage Vibes offers three core services in the areas of beverages, food, and entertainment,

Beverages:
There are three main categories of beverages: alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and hot beverages. The alcoholic beverages will comprise of wines, liqueurs, rums, and other distilled spirits. The main focus will be on the wines, and as such, this category will carry the largest and most diverse stock. And of course, wines from all over the globe will be included, especially those that originate from the famous wine regions – like France, Italy, Germany, Australia, and California, to name a few. Periodic wine events will be staged, such as wine tasting, wine and cheese parties, and promotions of selected brands of wines.

The hot beverage items comprise mainly coffee and chocolate ingredients, which is prepared and served in a variety of style and form.

The general form of entertainment is musical. The regular mode is delivered by renowned disc jockeys (like eminent radio personalities and celebrated music collectors) by means of the resident (hi-tech) sound system. Also, there are occasional live performances, in which patrons are serenaded by singers and band.

General entertainment activities include:

Musical entertainment via electronic sound system (celebrated ‘old-hits’ disc jockeys, radio personalities, authentic music collectors, diverse genre of vintage music)

Live entertainment (live band, artistes, poets, karaoke)
