The ISEBD teaches aspiring and existing entrepreneurs about the Jamaican business environment as well as trading across borders. The Institute gives students practical framework to follow at the different stages of the business. There are three specific specializations, these are as follows:

This is a practical course aimed at those embarking on a NEW BUSINESS venture or those who would simply like to know what is involved in starting a new enterprise. This Business specialization discusses the essential skills needed to start a SUCCESSFUL and profitable business in Jamaica.

Students will learn how to conduct a SWOT and PESTEL analysis of themselves and their competitors as well as how to use Porter's 5 forces.
