Their customer service on the phone was quite bad, usually I don't leave reviews however for such a recognized company I was appalled. The quality of their cakes is good but the service that is received makes me not want to purchase from the company overall. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO DO BETTER.

Sugar and Spice has made their name. In the era before all the other "marts" there was and still is Sugar and Spice. Moms who know, only get their kids cakes here, however, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUX!!! It starts with the phone call to red hills road. I know people that have called for up to TWO (2) days before actually speaking to someone and that includes ALL PHONE LINES. They ring incessantly. They are behind times here, set up a messaging system and designate someone to calling back your potential customers with their order numbers.

Next when you do get to the actual bakery, the cashiers' faces are ALWAYS Sour! No smile, no warm greeting, nothing to encourage your doing business with them. The persons that serve the ordered cakes and/or take the orders are another HOT MESS! No approach, no patience, no customer service training. Also I've stood there waiting for an order and watch the phone ring on and on with 3-4 ladies walking by in blissful ignorance. No wonder when you call, you're not able to speak to anyone.

We love the cake, we love the price, it's nostalgic for most of us, but, management, the face of your company needs a KEEN uplift.

Their cakes are good but when it comes to customer service they are lacking a lot in that field. Another thing what is the purpose of having the business if you do not answer calls, I've never called and gotten through.

I wish I could select zero stars. Though I was the first person to purchase, it certainly didn't mean I will be the first to serve. Also when the employee throws the receipt at you, I do believe that you should close down your business. Its the hard working people that gave you your success. No favours are done here!

The cakes are the best in my opinion. The patties are always hot and fresh. This location has a few mature workers which is nice to see. A few would be considered as miserable/lacks good customer service.

The worst ever. Sugar and Spice Boulevard ruin my Birthday cake. I had previously preordered the cake and went I sent my best friend to pick it up he was told that the cake was not there. The staff was very rude and disrespectful to him and he left. I called spoke to a helpful staff name by the name of Aliyah who tried her best to pacify me I was offered a another solution and since my Birthday was the next I had no chance but to take the offer. When I went to pick up I told her to write my information on the cake without seeing it,came back to pick it up upon seeing the cake I decided It would not have worked. Immediately I asked for a refund but was told by the supervisor to look on the wall where I would see their policy. When I looked on the wall the information was not saying what I was told by her. After explaining my situation the book was checked once more and low beyond my order was magically found. I immediately agreed to pay,the supervisor response was she didn't work the morning shift. When I got up Sunday morning I found out that my cake was stale. Had to throw it away in the garbage

This specific sugar and spice not only sells pastry and cake, but also they sell lunches and they also partner with tastee. There's an outdoor eating area, for those who'd which to dine in.

In this day and age where customer service can make or break an organization I find that the attitude of the staff is really poor and I certainly wont be going back to Sugar and Spice...not when I have the option of going elsewhere and being treated with respect!

Their cakes are delicious but all the times I've visited and see the manager present she doesn't interact with her customers... I visited the Barbican location to order cakes on 2 different occasion and she was present and she just walked by us as if we weren't there... they also need newer design for their cakes
