  I went to this restaurant on my last visit to ja and I would never do it again. The waitress brought us glasses of water and never came back . We had to ask someone else about the waitress..We saw other people came and got served right away while we waited for an hour for our meals " I'm assuming those are regular customer's so they were more important"..Even a family that was seated next to us got upset and left. The meal was ok but the service was terrible.. all of waitresses needs to be retrained.

  Some of the food is good however,customer service is very poor
  Some staffs have no manners their facial expression is not welcoming to customers, that attitude needs to change. Customer always comes first learn to appreciate them coming to support business without the customers there's no business.

  My Experience on the evening of Tuesday, February 13, 2018 was unpleasant. Even though The restaurant's environment was awesome,the server needs training and knowledge in customer service. Her behavior and body language was very negative and disappointing. She gave the impression that only certain customers were VIPs and actually made the statement.
  In addition, she aggressively placed the bill on the table and forgot to say thank you after being paid.
  I would not recommend this type of service to anyone and would not visit star grill restaurant again for this kind of impolite service.
  I would suggest to all other options in Mandeville that gives better service.
  I reported my experience to the supervisor on duty with the intention that this employee will take her career seriously and improve on her behavior not because I want her services to be terminated. I pray that this employee will learn from this and
  treat other persons with respect
  and care.
  I believe star grill restaurant can do well if employees offer better customer service.

  Was impressed with the food served. Specifically the Jamaican fare. It has an amazingly extensive menu. Downstairs is a fast food section and upstairs a full restaurant with alcoholic drinks. Chinese, Italian, Jamaican, Mexican foods are offered. I enjoyed my meal and the service was friendly and timely.

  It's a nice environment to go dine. Two restaurant caters for two different types visitors you have a casual section of the restaurant and you have fine dining section. All meals are done to order. Nice and friendly courteous staff.
  The restaurant has its own parking lot which is easy to access.

  I have eaten here in a few occasions. It's a very modern looking restaurant with very ambitious dishes. However, the last time I went there with a few other persons to dine, we hadn't wait for an unbelievably and frustratingly long time for the food to be prepared. It was simply incredible! However, the food was not bad and the customer service was OK.

  The pasta was good but the customer service was ify. . Like they had no idea what they were doing. Communication between the waitress and kitchen was off. It's beautiful there tho and probably one of the best spot s in Mandeville

  I have visited Star Grill on 2 previous occasions so knew what to expect, I thought. We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. We arrived just before 2pm and it took over an hour for the first of our orders to arrive. One meal was cold, a couple luke warm and one as you would expect. We did consider sending them back but we were hungry at this point and not sure how much longer we would have to wait for the matter to be rectified. To add insult to injury, a table that arrived after us, were tucking into their meal as we sat watching. When asked if happy with our meal, we said no and gave our reasons. Our server apologised and she she would give us a comments card to record our comments. We didn't receive this neither did we recieve the slice of cake I asked for, for the birthday girl. Disappointing visit Star Grill. Unfortunately for you, there were a couple of people in our party who for them this was their first visit. They won't be giving you the benefit of doubt.

  Food was disappointing to say the least. I had the barbecued breast from the lunch menu with rice & peas and steamed vegetable. It was lacking in flavor and texture.

  I went to Star Grill last week with a party of 4. We placed our order at 8:05 PM. At 8:45 I inquired about our order and was told that it would soon be out. At 9:00 I asked for a refund from the supervisor who had an attitude and I left. I would never return to this restaurant. Piss Poor customer service.
